I’m camped out in the Australian outback without my laptop or a reliable internet connection but I’ll try to post up something anyway.
There are wallabies hopping around and raucous birds making strange sounds as the dawn light slowly creeps over the forest. The trees, plants and landscape are otherworldly, like from the planet Avatar. No flying people yet but I suspect it may happen at anytime. The gathered throng are starting to gather momentum and may soon be airborne, so to speak. It’s a 5 day event and we’re just beginning the second day.
Focus 5, the speaker calls it, and that’s the purpose: to focus on what’s most beautiful and most real in this life. And what could that be except for existence itself? It would require only a small adjustment in our priorities, the list of things that are most important to us.
Simplicity and clarity, which seem to be his forte (speaking of the speaker, Prem Rawat) are certainly fundamental to a happy life. Simplicity and clarity are way under rated, in my opinion. The news of the world is way over rated (in my opinion) but that’s what we listen to. Crazy. We are one crazy species. We listen to what is not important and don’t listen to what is important. Brilliant.
The whole world is a circus in that regard. People dressed up and acting like clowns, some with happy faces, some with sad faces. Weird creatures doing strange things. Amazing feats of skill and daring mixed up with ridiculous pranks and silly put ons. What better description could there be of our world?
Oh well, people actually pay to go to the circus and be entertained. They sit in the bleachers and applaud. The smoke and mirrors and the procession of performers is fascinating, mesmerizing. I agree. It is a first rate show and the simplicity and clarity is what allows us to actually enjoy it without losing our objectivity, our personal reference point; that we are human beings alive on a planet having a lifetime. The time of our life.
That’s the importance of simplicity and clarity. Good stuff. Highest quality. Top priority.
Enjoy the show is my takeaway. So far I am.

Wow- looks like a lot of people are there. I hope you are soaking up the simplicity and clarity and enjoying the people and animals and the message.
