emptiness / like this heavy grey sky
it’s not bad
no need to fill up the emptiness
with thoughts
can you imagine a picture of nothing ??
just a frame
probly not because nothing is something
it’s blank space / it’s the canvas
before the paint is applied
before our minds became civilized
our heart all the time
not the one that pumps blood
the one that wants to feel good
a simple singular desire
it’s hard to acquire emptiness
no utility no progress being made
we have to fill the space with something
stillness emptiness quietude beatitude dude
if we were more familiar with the benefits
we would be advertising it on commercials
at the football games
i once saw a quarterback for the university of michigan
sit by the goal post and meditate
to clear his mind before the game
meanwhile the commercials were telling me
to buy a new truck so i can get away
and find some peaceful hidden place
to meditate
i’ll take the emptiness
the nothing to say
and enjoy it
i really didn’t need a new truck
to find my peace
my point of breath
i mean in one breath there is endless space
the grey sky is lowering its roof
and tiny raindrops are falling
the empty sky descends on me
