Nice post! Sounds like you've got a regular Catapalooza going on -- I wonder how cats behave (as far as mating and prolifically reproducing) in the wild? In other words, if left to defend themselves on an island, would their population top out at a manageable level? It just seems like their ability to procreate so quickly is an issue for humans, so is it an issue for them as well? Good luck with your crew!
thanks / that's an experiment i hope to avoid in my back yard / i can say that the goldfish in the pond multiplied from a couple dozen to 50 or 60 and then leveled off so maybe there is a control mechanism in animal populations
