Wow. Human beings. Something else, man. Really. I mean how did we get to be so stupid and so smart at the same time? That’s something I truly do not understand. I have asked University professors this question. They didn’t know either. The COP 26 Climate Change Conference just concluded in Glasgow. That’s in Scotland. I guess they figured for some reason they would have a better chance of coming up with something if they were in Scotland. Didn’t work. They didn’t come up with diddley squat. Compared to the dire consequences being predicted by the climate scientists, they came up with exactly not very much.
Well written, Rohn. I agree that the people will come up with the solutions. Of course more need to become interested, but there are many folks out there developing ingenious systems for addressing pollution, water reclamation, power generation, recycling, etc. It's also encouraging that big businesses are getting on board with things like electric vehicles and alternative energy. The question is whether they will implement enough of these soon enough to pull us back from the brink. Remains to be seen. In the meantime, I will do what I can and enjoy what I have while I'm here.
