Was talking with a friend tonight about how we the people haven't been here long at all in the scheme of things. I wonder how much longer we will and if once we leave, the planet may repair herself in time.
It’s why I wrote my song “Evelyne”: I needed to do something. It softens the feeling of helplessness and there’s always the hope that at least one person will respond with a shift in their awareness, and ultimately, their actions. The more somethings we do the better. Thank you
Good question, "what will motivate people to respond/change. As always, I think we have to add animals and other lifeforms to the equation: MILLIONS (billions?) factory-farmed animals died because of Hurricane Helene, and more because of Milton, I bet. The fires in the Amazon kill countless trees. We always look at the damage done to humans, but that's not enough.
yeah i was reading about the wildfires in australia "The 2020 Australian bushfires went down in history for their catastrophic impact on wildlife. The extreme bushfires tore through New South Wales and Queensland in southeastern Australia, burning 42 million acres, destroying thousands of buildings, and killing dozens of people as well as 3 billion animals, including a staggering 61,000 koalas. Australia experienced the hottest and driest year in its recorded history in late 2019 and early 2020, which was a major contributing factor to the devastating wildfires."

a righteous question

I agree. That’s a real heartbreaker for me.

Yes. So sad.
I read your book and I own a copy.
I think it would be cool if you would write a book about how we can heal our world as a sequel to your first book.
good suggestion
