I often wonder what humans (or whomevers) will discover about us in their archaeological digs eons from now after our civilization has moved on. What will they call us? How will they describe our era? I imagine Earth's surface absorbing our cities, churning them around, pushing them deeper and deeper so the trees and the rest of life can start fresh on dense fertile land.

yes i stayed off the roads and survived / others weren't so lucky
