Texas is a land of extremes. Seems like it's getting more so all the time, from the politicians to the climate. Hope you don’t get driven from your own little oasis… but there are some other nice places to reside. I live in the land of rain, for which I am always grateful even when it gets to be TOO MUCH. 💦 🌧️☔️🌫️💧🌊

Scary and desperate and apocalyptic. What once was taken for granted, a seemingly natural part of life on this planet, now lives in dreams of earth’s past. It’s a strange time to be alive. I hope Choc Mul is kind to you.

Did the rain arrive today? I really hope so. I love your pecan tree. Glad you survived the flash flood situation intact and with your bike. Sounded scary.
