Summer has dropped like a heavy beam into my front yard.
the music.. so good
thank you
“welcome to summer” ah thank you
i love these lines
“summer dropped like a heavy beam”
& “the microbes are screaming”
“everyone is miserable” is a sad & funny line
also like your presentation of respect/respite together
& how you connect the sunflowers with the sparrows
“the bugs are gone, the caterpillars that ate my spinach,
everybody”
migration
bugs starve birds starve
starvation is front page news
“i don’t have to stand outside in one place all day”
sunflower like immigrants in fields
“..like the good old usa”
that is “through with summer”
into fall soon to winter (democracy)
the chiles like the native latinas can thrive here
two thorny native trees, “like a couple of old bells”
beautifully mingles spanish & native histories
those who are unbothered
simultaneous thriving & dying
cycles.. summer, problems, lifetimes
also empires
“my view out the window with the cardinal & the hackberry trees”
you the observer but also you the experiencer
the aider, the investigator, the storyteller
thank you / there's alot of things i didn't notice / hope you find some shade
Good idea to listen to music with water in the background in hot dry times.
Perfection...listened on a loop as the Springer flies over fields terrorising seagulls who take to flight, cursing him with language not fit for children's ears.
are you at the beach ??
A mile from the sea. Just a couple of lazy flaps and easy thermals for these giant gulls.
Two trees like old pals…I’ll watch that too.
