Trees. Oh my god, what treasures! I just found out today that a dear tree-love of mine outside my window is called a Port Orchard Cypress, highly unusual in our area. The city of Port Orchard is on the Olympic Peninsula, a totally different ecosystem than ours in Eastern Washington. How did this beauty come to find its home here? Someone loved it and brought it here to live, no doubt, and I have the pleasure of its companionship.
i figured out how to get water to the roots of my pecan / fill buckets with water spaced out around the drip edge with small holes drilled in them / let the water slowly drip out / repeat three times

Love the trees. Beautiful. Liked your orange cat in the corner of the shot. Looks a bit like my cat.
thanks / yeah he likes to get in the shot
You got some gorgeous tree friends, and I hope the Pecan will recuperate. I hope you'll get some rain.

I believe trees are resilient, and that they can feel/appreciate the extra care given.
I hope it comes back, regains its nut making ability!
