Howdy Rohn.. good one. Have fun with the garden, maybe more chili pequins? Thinking I may try some this year, definitely doing jalapenos and serranos. I randomly looked up Adelante the other day only to find they are closing April 1st.. those puffy tacos were the best. Healthy tex mex one of a kind. Hope you make it in for a last meal.. enjoy

Your yard is lovely. I agree on the viewpoint of vaporizing and rebuilding again, along with my garden. I grow corn, tomatoes, cucumbers always. But lately pumpkins have captured my attention- gorgeous and huge and beautiful vines. Eventually I split them open and roast the seeds, and give some to the squirrels. Potatoes are really fun. Impractical in spirit, I trend toward growing less things to eat, and more things to enjoy looking at, like flowers.

Over here I have tons of tree squirrels and not a one of them eats a tomato. You need good sun for tomatoes. I've always thought an almond tree would be neat. Though perhaps squirrels would eat those. Wish I could grow peanuts but it's not hot enough here.

Over here is Eugene, Oregon, a college town about an hour from the Pacific ocean. I've grown a bunch of stuff. I plant grains for fun- like oat, wheat, amaranth. Nasturtiums and California poppies grown almost like weeds. I usually have a big zinnia patch. I have garlic coming up right now from planting late fall. We can grow lots here. I have blueberries. No fruit trees yet, but it's a goal.
