This speaks to me: "Somewhere between the ancient practice of writing and the modern technology we have today that makes everything so convenient and sterile."

I have gone back to writing more on paper. It feels more personal and authentic. But it's harder for me to use in blogs because not so simple to copy and paste as quickly as whenever I use notes. Do you go back and read old written notes? I often don't, it's like each day is new with handwriting.

ha i've got boxes and boxes of old notes poems stories ideas / i mean to throw them away but i never do / writing happens in so many different ways i'm fascinated by the process

I feel better for just doing the act of writing, so the science behind it is true!

That is perfect. Thank you, Rohn.

For what it’s worth, I am sitting out side on a perfectly perfect Oregon afternoon reading Rushdie’s book, Knife. Taking a break to read your post has felt perfectly timed. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed your musings on writing through writing here, writing about your own writing. Writing can be a whole world with its own moons and gravity. I relate to not feeling like myself without writing for long, and will write in other mediums just to "think".
